Supreme Roadmaster
1. BMW 4.5 star rating
2. Mercedes 4 star rating
2. Audi 4 star rating

Conclusion:
All three are great cars and its easy to understand why they are one of the best cars in the world.
Mercedes is comfy, Audi is sporty and BMW is both comfy and sporty.
In the end it comes down to personal preferences which one you choose.

Measured fuel consumption:
BMW: 5.1 liter/100 km
Mercedes: 5.5 liter/100 km
Audi: 5.8 liter/100 km

Every road test should just include this one sentence.

Would stop most of the pointless arguments of people on here trying to push their own favourite and explain why everybody else is wrong. Might make the forum a bit boring though.

E-class LCI was for the worst IMO, truly sad. In the M-B product portfolio on expects some 'old school' Benz persona of which the E-class always catered for perfectly. Now however it looks awkward.
And yes, the F10 is just what I would buy of this trio, BMW's best value for money offering in their product portfolio and a true premium one at that:cool:

E class LCI is one of the biggest fails in MB history.

F10 reigns supreme (I just drove 400 km and back again to the Nurburnring F1 GP in F10 520i. Bloody brilliant.)

In the 5er range, I'd take either an M5 or 520i. Nothing else :D

By the way, best selling car in this segment in June is the E-Klasse (Germany). Such a failure.

Not a surprise since 5er LCI is not available yet nor is the pre-LCI car (except some inventory cars on the lot + delayed deliveries). LCI 5er will start deliveries in mid July.

@Enl
That's not the point. Even if the 5-er LCI will be selling in larger numbers than the E-klasse mopf, that doesn't make the E-Klasse a failure

i dont think he meant it as a fail in a sense that it cant sell

How else would you quantify "success" in what is a very subjective area of discussion?

I agree, I think Klier meant "fail" in terms of his OWN view on the looks, in which case it's a completely meaningless statement. I happen to think the E-Class looks better after the facelift. I'm sure I'm not the only one. But it's irrelevant in a discussion as there is no right or wrong answer.

Like it says in the article. It's one of the most expensive facelift in history. So yes, MB did something wrong and try to correct it with an expensive facelift.
