This is like putting David against Goliat

RS4 is a fine fine machine.
But I can't stop wishing they should put a 500hp 3.0T engine in there instead.

If the VXR8 had been closer to £40k the outcome might have been different but at its current price here despite its charm its a non-runner in this comparison, the RS4 does everything simply better for very little more and that's before you even factor in its build, interior, technology and the all important image.
