I have to say the Arnage but I'd still take a Mulsanne in a heartbeat.
I like them both a lot but I love the Arnage.
It's the perfect everyday car for mr. Pimplotion

I would have to say I love them both. The Arnage exterior is nothing short of flawless with a highly sophisticated interior. I've seen several on the road and it is an experience. It's road presences can be described with one word..Glorious. It sits so high up and it's proportions are excellent. It is the one sedan in the world that will get my attention quicker than an S-class. It is the highest level of automotive supremacy.

The Mulsanne has a very powerful look. In some cases it looks even bigger than the Arnage (might be, just have to look at the specs again). The interior is looking better and better. The headlights were a big chance, but I have grown to love them. Even though I am extremely impressed by the photos, I still need to see one in person to make a decision.

The Arnage is iconic whilst the Mulsanne is progress...I like progress even if I do not like front end very much the car is a masterpiece in it's own right.

HoH....the poll is invalid.....lol.

If any of us had this type of money we should be able to afford both, and not have to make a decision.

I'll take both please.

^more like i like it more than the loved arnage..

Your question tells that you have bad taste;)..haha

It has to be the Arnage for me! Just look at that thing, seems like perfection from every single angle! :usa7uh:

Side profile of the Mulsanne is truly one of a kind. It's beautiful to me. So sad other parts are lacking. But it's much better and modern than the Arnage.

The Mulsanne and Arnage both have a lovely interior and exterior, but the Arnage has a slight edge, in that the interior is truly bespoke. At this price point, instruments that are visible and commonly used ought to look bespoke, otherwise I'd get a BMW/M-B/Audi or any of the more mainstream luxury makes.

EDIT: After looking at HoH's post with photos directly comparing the exterior, I'm more inclined to take the Arnage. The Mulsanne looks slightly cartoonish compared to the Arnage, especially aft of the B-pillar. Both are great, but the Arnage is truly iconic.

i beg to differ
if anything, i consider the Mulsanne's profile it's weakest point. it is unresolved, just gluing together two very different design philosophies abruptly. From the front to the B pillar, the mulsanne is very composed, elegant, ostentatious powerful, in essence old-world british.

From the B pillar to the rear it's very wizzy modern, curves, lines, an angular "fast" door that looks better on an Audi than a bentley.

it's a shame really, somewhere in the design process the connection between "old" and "new" so particularly "Bentley" is just messed up.

Mulsanne in an instant.

But now that the entire luxury segment (save Rolls Royce) has moved on from classical designs to a posture filled with progressive enlightenment and reflexive irony, there is something undeniably enduring about the Arnage that - I believe - will only improve with age.

I think the Mulsanne is legitimately amazing, and places Bentley at the forefront of world-class luxury - but - I think it's possible for younger people (ok 'young' - like in their 30s and 40s) to make a legitimate fashion statement in an Arnage by virtue of its anachronistic character.

I can't really imagine driving the Mulsanne, awesome as it is. But same goes for the Phantom or Ghost... Them's britches I can't fill.

In my eyes, the Arnage seems so much more authentic than the Mulsanne. For instance, the interior of the Mulsanne is very derivative of the Arnage, yet does very little to advance the design. Yes, it's newer (and thankfully they've abandoned the remote controlled "integrated" navigation system), but at the end of the day it's just a modern replica of a 10+ year old car which draws heavily on the past itself.

That said, if only the Arnage and the Mulsanne were up for consideration for purchase, it would be difficult for me to justify the purchase of the Arnage over its more modern successor. And as a result, it would be even more difficult to justify the purchase of a Mulsanne over a modern competitor like the Rolls-Royce Ghost or Phantom.
