Thanks Rolf, you're the man. What a truly enjoyable review: very informative, no clichés, no stupid false smiles and laughs while drifting, well spoken and easy to understand for us, non native English speakers.
I really like the 3 series, it just look good from all angles, the Jag's front is nicer, but the rear incredibly dull and generic, while I just hate Mercedes headlights in general and hood shut line (Klier mode: on), which to my eyes ruin an otherwise beautiful design.
Anyway, all these three cars, plus new A4, ever upcoming Giulia and even the Caddy show how off the Japanese are in designing a premium car. The Lexus and Infiniti are just abominable, like a huge kicks in the gonads, with an olympic impulse run.
On a last note, I'm completely satisfied and even surprised with the build quality of my Renault and have zero complains about them, but a Mercedes featuring one of their engines, as good as they are, is simply, fundamentally wrong in so many levels that I don't know where to start. It's like buying a Rolex with a Seiko or Miyota (Citizen) movement. As fine as they are, they simply don't belong on a supposedly premium product.
