New world order. So long the US and Europe, your days are over. China is now the most important market for luxury cars.

And for you who have got kids, make your children adopt Mandarin as foreign language.

In what ways? Red interior is oppulent but a superb match for a white exterior and the dragons are brilliant cultural touches.

White porcelain and dragons ;)
I agree with Wunderkind :t-cheers:
Maybe cultural for Asia but it does look vulgar on cars... especially on a Bugatti

It just go to show how stark the differences is between the Western World and Emerging markets. Our products unanimously don't have much cultural trade marks but minimalism while elsewhere culture and history runs through most tangible products. VAG have made a strong note of this and have marked their intentions to tailor their product offerings to China. This is just the beginning. Their modular platforms will allow VAG to cost effectively produce cars that are specific to the requirements and taste of the Chinese population.

Built to pay tribute to the year of the dragon,

They should have waited around until it was the year of the Pig again. It'd seem more appropriate. ;)

Also, it's a one-off model, so there's no tailoring to the Chinese market here, just another publicity project. Overall though, I agree with you Luw' that more and more focus is - and will continue to be - given to the Chinese luxury-car market.

Still waiting on a BMW 1M Jackie Chan Edition!

I cannot disagree here :t-cheers:
