The Mercedes-Benz W210 is the internal designation for a range of executive cars manufactured by Mercedes-Benz and marketed under the E-Class model name in both sedan/saloon (1995–2002) and station wagon/estate (1996–2003) configurations. W210 development started in 1988, three years after the W124's introduction.
Prior to the E55, there was the E50 AMG, which was a five litre M119 powered W210 with 354 hp and 481 Nm of torque.
The ironic thing is that the M119 was a sophisticated engine compared to the M113. The M119 had dual overhead camshaft, four valves per cylinder and variable valve timing, while the M113 had a single overhead camshaft and three valves per cylinder.
That's why the W220 S500 was 14 hp down compared to the W140 S500. Thankfully, however, the W220 weighed a lot less than the W140, so it was quicker than its predecessor despite the drop in horsepower.

That three ultra beauties! and not to mention the content, I thought it would have been very difficult for me to choose between them, it would have hurt me no matter which one I choseThe W210 E55 AMG was the best model in that range and gave the Jaguar XJR a thumping although it found its master in the E39 M5.
