The g-friend and I went to see the Focus RS but she turned the car down, not the looks but trunk space. AWD stealing lots of place in the trunk and it didn't look much larger than my Fiesta. So is the girlfriend going to stay between a Focus RS and us!?!?! LOL

So we went to Seat to take look at the Cupra 290. She gave approval to a Seat instead. Much better in her opinion.

Well, look at the bright side Cupra is about 10.000 euro less after building a Focus RS and Seat Cupra R in the car config.

Its not over yet though, there is at least another year before I need to make a decision about a new car and a testdrive of both them to give a proper judegment.

The Seat Cupra 290 is one heck of a hot hatch, but have you thought about the Golf GTI ClubSport or ClubSport S version? They are limited edition and in long term their values will probably increase.

Maybe, not a fan of the standard GTI. However, there are massive discounts to be made with a Golf R.
