The eActros 300 Tractor for distribution haulage has covered around 3,000 kilometers from the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant to Aksaray in Turkey, where the road endurance and reliability testing of the electric truck will be taking place. Test engineers chose a route across Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria for the trip.
- Successful transfer from the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant to the Mercedes-Benz Trucks site in Aksaray, Turkey, for test purposes of electric trucks
- Route spanning approximately 3,000 kilometers across Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria to Turkey
- On tour: the eActros 300 Tractor, the eActros 300 4x2, and the eActros 300 6x2
- Charging the batteries only at public charging stations
- Dr. Christof Weber, Head of Global Testing at Mercedes-Benz Trucks: “In preparation for the impending start of series production for the eActros 300 Tractor in autumn, road endurance testing will take place at our Aksaray site, among other locations. We also used the demanding route there as an additional test. Our conclusion: the e-truck has mastered the varied route through Central and Eastern Europe with ease and is ready for series production.”
