Both interior and body are in beautiful and well maintained condition; all the lenses, gauges and lights are in good condition. The paint and interior is original. The body is solid with no rust and clean underside.
This is a very strong 230SL is a very great driver with a very strong 2306 CC 170 HP engine and a manual transmission. It starts easily with no smoke, idles
beautifully and it accelerates strongly in any gear without any fuzziness or smokes. It shifts smoothly, the clutch doesn't grind or slip and break holds firm.
A beautiful and fantastic car to drive. It has not been restored but it has rather been well maintained over the years. Mechanically well working and driving condition. It is very comfortable to drive. It has both tops in very good conditions.
