Z-car First Glimpse of 2009 Nissan 350Z?

The Nissan Z-series is a model series of sports cars manufactured by Nissan since 1969. The original Z was first sold on October of 1969 in Japan as the Nissan Fairlady Z at Nissan Exhibition dealerships that previously sold the Nissan Bluebird. It was initially marketed as the Datsun 240Z for international customers. The most recent is simply known as the Nissan Z, in production since 2022.

Hey gang, has this been posted before? (Went two pages deep on the Japanese forum - didn't see anything...) If so please delete or merge accordingly.

Anyhoo, back on to the subject at hand; this looks to be a legit shot of the next generation 350Z. No doubt it'll be naturally aspirated and rear wheel drive but wouldn't it be nice if Nissan plumped the VR38 V6 (sans DETT) coupled with a transaxle 6 speed dual clutch transmission in the new car? Highly unlikely but hey, we can only dream no?

Dual clutch for the 350Z? Wouldn't think so, at lest not yet. I'd figure Nissan wants to let the GT-R shine with all it's tech before the little brother gets some of it. The GT-R has barely hit the European markets yet.
