It's a good location at the top of the hill, I've got most of the Porsche parade in the same fashion, but it just seems to work better with the 917.

Just lovely. The out of focus hay in the foreground certainly does the trick. I adore the 956/962 in your pics (and 908 and 917, and.....)

Ta. I'm happy with the rally pics mostly because I impulse bought a 24mm prime lens the week before the event which turned out to be ideal for the low light, close quarters conditions in woods around the rally stage.
