hello german car fans

just a quick hello as im a new member,im from the uk,born in germany on a uk army base and im the owner of a gaurds red 944 silver rose turbo.greetings.
 
Welcome To the forum!! That's a nice little 944 you got there. How is the maintenance on those things?

hello mate,too be honest its been the most reliable car ive owned so far,things very rarely break,its had a clutch which is about the most expensive thing to do,(£1000) but the last one lastest 45k,£30 a month to insure (classic car),mine has the mo30 fully adjustable suspension,lsd,911 turbo breaks, 0-60 in 5.5, 165 mph,and ive seen it lol and best of all.ive still yet too have 1 subaru impreza get past it lol.

Good to hear the classic is still holding it's own. I have been looking for cars for a year now and I came across a black 944. I talked to the guy and he was really nice and told me that the car is pretty reliable, but when something goes wrong it costs alot. Especially here in the US where Porsche service rates are around $100 per hour and add expensive parts to that list. So I kind of talked myself out of that. I still want that car, but I don't have the money to be paying the Porsche stealerships here..LOL

Glad you have one though, i'm sure it puts a smile on your face everyday!
