Hey guys im living in Denmark, and maybe as u know cars in Denmark are generally expensive.

I have been looking at this car:

The price of the car is 33.954,38 Euro. ( prices in Denmark are generally double than germany)

it has driven 211.000km.

It is a benzin and hybrid motor.

I really dont know much about cars so i dont know whether to buy it or not im especially afriad of the motor that it has driven too much.

Thanks in advance.

250k is just way too much, if you plan to resell it in the future I don’t see a high possibility for that happening easily or at a reasonable price, but yeah it’s staggering what price they are asking for this car....
I think something under 80-100k km with this engine should be good for a while, since they are not performance level, people rarely drive them like crazy so around 100k km a C220-350 level will be still good.

hi I have a c class it’s very reliable car the same shape I can’t say the engine will give in but that mileage is highly surprisingly the car look is very neat for that kilos.. if the car is serviced regularly at Mercedes maybe I would take chance personally I would rather spend more money and buy a low mileage car... saying that it depends yon your budget as for pricing I can not comment on Belgium market

i see thanks. But such a mercedes car and motor how long can it stand? 1m before collapsing? or is it exaggeratet

It's not only the engine you should check. It's also the condition of the suspension parts (ie. bushings, shock absorbers, etc) which could cost quite much if there's a need to be replaced. A well serviced car should not require much attention.

Its condition does look mint for a 200k km car, that has to be said!

Well if you plan to drive this car until it stops, then it’s still an option. If you can make sure that the car was serviced at Mercedes all the time, and you will keep servicing it at Mercedes, then this car can go on for a while. Also a smaller engine, maybe a C220 would be more suitable for a very long usage, but as Giannis said, there are many other things in the car that can have a bad condition due to high mileage. It really depends on what are your plans with this car.

Engine lasting depends on service...how u drive your car and care...yes if well looked after and a bit of luck you can do high mileage...main thing is regular service at dealer with genuine parts only.
