I'm visiting Stuttgart - need advice

Is anyone here from the Stuttgart area? I'm planning a short visit (10-11 January) for a conference and I need some advice.

Im not from Stuttgart, but try to visit Mercedes & Porsche museums, even though "short visit for conference" doesnt sound like much free time

Absolutely! Don’t leave Stuttgart without having visited at least one of them. The MB museum is probably my favorite.

First you go to the Mercedes museum. Then, if there's still time, you go to the Porsche museum. Then you call your boss and tell him that you've come down with stomach flu and couldn't attend the conference.

I do recall eating the worst Turkish food I have eaten in my life in Stuttgart! lol.

A visit to the Porsche Museum is an absolute must.

Both Mercedes and Porsche Museum are kinda cool.
If you're up for something little less touristy, you should think about this:
MOTORWORLD | Region Stuttgart
Cool and special cars and nice food, as well.

Boeblingen is close to Stuttgart and there is good public transport.
Moreover, the Sindelfingen plant is just around the corner.

Well, I've already been at the MB Museum (and obviously I'm going again). It's also obvious that I'm visiting the Porsche Museum.

I was more interested about where to eat and where to have a bloody drink, but what can one expect from a car forum?

In Stuttgart? Their Laugenbrezel are better than anywhere.

And recommend taxis or a chauffeur service.

bobforstner.com They have a small, but very nice museum (a lot of old Lamborghinis) and they are official Pagani Dealer for Southern Germany - you might be able to see a Zonda or Hyuara there...

Just walk around town. That's what I do if I'm in a new city.
