Lexus is despondent over the death of the LS, so much so that they’re slapping the LS tag on anything. It’s hysterical.

Scrutinized in isolation, there are a number of design elements that are fascinating. Deleting the various air vents and altering the exterior proportions to a cabin-back RWD theme would highlight some magnificent sheetmetal surfacing. Applied to a low slung, long hooded sport/luxury sedan (something like a successor to the IMHO very eye appealing LS 500), something stunningly beautiful could be created. Something far more exciting than the standard German fare.

Its a pity they want to use the LS naming for this. XS would be more suitable. Its an interesting concept and has some nice touches in the interior such as the wooden cup holders. Will this car go into production?
