Both look like ass, but atleast the Ferrari is a Ferrari get it in red and you might get some pussy.. that Mclaren is not even on a girls radar.

I was waiting for someone to make this. I will go with the Ferrari Roma, because pussy matters. Jokes aside from what I heard and read both the GT and the Portofino ain't doing very well sales wise. More so the McLaren GT, even on places like Mclarenlife you rarely see anyone talking about it. But hey! That Aston Martin Rome looks good and is probably more reliable than the McLaren GT.

My take - if you are going to pony up for a McLaren or a Ferrari and put up with the hassles of of living with one, go all in and get a real full blooded one. If you want a daily usable supercar, get a 911 Turbo.

If you're going to drop that kind of cash on something you daily, why not get something unique? The 911 is ubiquitous thanks to its 20 variants at varying price points.

Despite some things I am on the fence regarding the Roma, I'd choose that over the Macca GT. I am still not convinced of a mid-engined GT makes the most sense.

When it comes to exotic sports cars McLaren every time, but when it comes to exotic GTs Ferrari do it much better, the Roma is gorgeous!

That is exactly why - the car I daily, I prefer not to stick out. Just personal choice.
Down here, all three of these cars would stand out like piles on a Bonobo's arse in daily use. Considering which car I'd rather be touring in, be it Great Pacific, Cape Winelands or Dolomites... I'd take the McLaren out of these two.
And of course, following the herd, a 911 Turbo over either without thinking about it.

That's the Mclaren. The wedge shape makes it a standout GT for those who like visual drama.

Your average Joe will think it's a super or hyper car.

All relevant things considered, I'd opt for a nicely configured 992 Carrera 4S or Turbo/S as well. Not to diminish the gorgeous Ferrari Roma, mind you... The Porsche simply strikes me as being the more "practical and prudent" choice. I also do not think that I'd relish the attention that a Ferrari Roma or McLaren GT would command.

If I want a Ferrari GT, I would chose the 812 Superfast over any V8 turbo Ferrari any day .... as long as this marquee of an engine exists, there is no alternative ...

Oh boy, there is no fat Porsche or Merc in sight of course....

Time for a little reality check buddy, if you think you don't stick out in a 911. Any 911, but particularly your's ;)
But I get your point, the Porsche would be like a VW next to a Ferrari to the general public.

But there is no 812 in the poll. Very few would take a Roma over an 812 if they could choose of course.

Anyways, I am just delighted to see TWO front engined RWD coupes from Ferrari now. The more the better.
And the cheaper the better too, though Roma will still be 250k Euro over here....

Oh yes.

I fondly remember the pre-late 1960s' front-motor Ferrari roadcar monoculture. And then came the 246 GT/GTS Dinos. But I found those very cool as well. And it was the only Ferrari (a 246 GTS in silver metallic) that I enjoyed the privilege of actually driving myself (thanks to a generous and trusting good acquaintance at the time).

Very tough decision as both are stunners. Looking at McLaren recent form and the GT better looking interior I would probably choose it over the Roma.
