Senna-based?
I'm guessing it is. It looks like McLaren decided to enter the different-skin-one-off project game, following Ferrari, Lamborghini, and recently, Bugatti.

Why not, if it makes for more publicity to the company, or if it helps to sell unsold chassis for a little bit extra profit...

Digging their own graves with these limited production cars. Eventually they will be giving away their HQ in Woking for free with the car.

For better or worse, IMO, this is probably going to be the viable business model for the niche ICE makers aka the Singer business model - get commissioned to make highly customized versions of antiques. People paying for the exclusivity and the touchy feely stuff. Of course, it will be a fraction of the operation it is now.

What a rip-off. Early indications were that it had over 1100 bhp. Yes, I get that's it's limited to 15 units, but I can't see how they can justify the price increase over the Senna.

Manthey racing thinking how to be faster than the Mclaren Senna and presents this horrible thing but fast hahahaha
