Benz easily. Tesla is a kit car with a novel, but limited powertrain. I can't get over how the press has given this car a free pass for an interior that isn't no where near that of a 100K car. The fit and finish is terrible once you get past the novelty of the big screen. It feels downright cheap inside.

It is unfortunate that people are slandering the Model S (or its owners) because the interior doesn't look like a 100K interior - and if that is your reason for disliking the car, then you simply don't understand the ideology behind it. It's a car that is way ahead of its time and I sincerely hope the brand continues to flourish and survives the test of time. If you look at the age and size of Tesla as a company, and what they have managed to accomplish with such limited resources within the last decade - it's just an astonishing feat.

I like the fact that Tesla came from nowhere and brought out such high tech and innovative electric powertrains that has actually now wakened up the rest of the car industry to the idea. With the Model S it is a springboard for a better future as this is an attractive car for sure with a good looking interior with innovative car multimedia systems. Okay the quality and luxury is not in the same league as the S-Class but it's a good start and in the future with backup from Mercedes Benz then they will get only better!

Guys, can anyone explain me why Tesla succeeded while Fisker went bankrupt? Are they cars head and shoulders over Henry's ones, or was just clever management? I'm asking from my complete ignorance in the subject......

It is a real pity, I think this car is one of the most beautiful 4door cars on the planet, certainly looks better than the Tesla S. I hope that someone with alot of money will either buy the designs of this car from Fisker or give them another life line but with stricter quality control on the electric systems.

Agreed. However, all is not lost. Fisker were recently bought out by Chinese corporation Wanxiang and they're planning to restart production of the Fisker soon. Hopefully with better funding, the brand can take off once again.
