Hello guys,
I have been around for a while (since 2006 apparently) and I like it here as a great resource for automotive information.
Off course, I´m a car guy from childhood, there are stories that I recognised cars from a buggy and I learned to read through automotive magazines.
Later I studied mechanical engineering because of my passion and currently cars are what I do for living (financial services though). I worked for Daimler for a few years as well.
I thought it would be nice to present cars I currently have. My very first own car was 2006 Focus ST with a five cylinder (I loved that sound) and the second one was 2001 Impreza WRX (bugeye). I no longer have these but I upgraded to current ones as follows:
2008 BMW M3 (E92) - manual, Evolve Stage 2 with test pipes, Supersprint Race exhaust, Eventuri full carbon intake incl. plenum, estimated power 460hp/460Nm
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII - Ohlins Road and Track suspension, Milltek Exhaust, 4turbo tune (380hp/530Nm dynoed)
2000 Subaru Impreza GT - stock with Prodrive exhaust
Every car has its reason. M3 is an allrounder, you can use it for travelling, city driving, some gentle tracking (been to Nordschleife twice), the sound with testpipes, supersprint and full carbon intake is just porn, best sound ever for me and yes, I have driven GT3, Huracan Performante and others (my colleague does business with this sort of cars)... Evo is a toy, nothing gets close regarding handling on snow even from new cars and on that suspension and with stage 2 it is a missile on B-roads.. and Impreza GT, classic car for me, I don´t like driving it that much, but I like the old style rally looks.
A few pics from last weekends shooting now, more will follow if you like, or you can take a look at my IG account : "powerslidehater" (sort of private, for friends mostly).
If anybody is considering any of these cars, I am willing to response to any questions.
Best regards guys.
