Hi fellow forumers

Colour Silver
Interior black
19 inch wheels
All standard items the car is fully loaded.
It has sunroof, navigation, rear seat entertaintment, and cruise control simalar to mercedes distronic,

I picked up the car yesterday drove it for abouth 1000kms

will say more soon..

Congrats Fortuner! :t-cheers:

In any book the Range Rover Voque HSE would be the most complete luxury car on earth...well in my book anyway! The Sport is a true part of that family tree and a real Tour de Force with huge capabilities.

Suspension freak me:D...How does the suspension feel in sport?...I have heard it's rather firm?

Hey thank you guys..

Well monster my ML 350 i sold making a profit off 75000 rands thats a wowo in this climate off car trading.I was to buy another ML but my bro said try something different as you already have the GL.So we went for the RR SPORT..

Yeah human the suspension is bit hard not too bad but i suppose if you come from a benz then its hard any car is almost hard compared to the comfy ride off a Mercedes.I think your X6 suspension will be way firmer as i drive my cosins X5 sport 3.0sd and that is hardcore on my back..

Congrats, what happened to your ML and GL? And did you say you drove for 1000km????

Yup monster exactly 1076 km i left yesterday midday and was home around 9 ish i picked up my car un Umhlanga near DURBAN..

You wont be dissapointed!

You need to tint the windows black then you can cruise around feeling like a gangsta:D

Mate its nice i wana do a comparison thread between the RR AND GL yeah the windows are tinted only the driver and pasenger side bit light.

Badass!!

As for the RR and GL, go for it! I'd like to see the size of an RR compared to a GL. Just don't take the GL off road to compare it with the RRs off road capabilities:D

I have heard from afriend he says the GL 320 cdi is brilliant off road and mean hardcore stuff.

Here are the photos Fortuner sent me of his new ride. :usa7uh:

Beautiful machine. Congratulations! :t-cheers:

PS: Who owns that W123 Mercedes 230E in the background!? :D

Thank you for the reply on the ride/suspension. Yeah! You're correct, the X6 ride is firm. Though the Adaptive drive does help with damping on poor roads an bumps.

Wet here in the Eastern Free State....had 145mm / 6" of rain on Monday 18th...in 5.5 Hrs time!!!...If we get stuck here I will know who to call...RR Sport HSE from Umhlanga:t-cheers:
My favourite holiday spot @ Umhlanga Sands...see ya in March :usa7uh:

Btw, love the Silver/Black combo - either that or...black on black.

Thank you everyone.

Wimmer its one of the 4 we have at work and my wife likes that paticular one its her favorite car.I also have 3 x124 series some are not in great condition.

Hey human umhlanga is a awesome place mate as well as balito..

The RR is going great so far well i have used it quite a bit so ill do a short summar on my trip and my thaughts so far..

hi wimmer firstly thanks for helping me post the pics..

well guys my short summary on my RR SPORT 4.4 HSE..

Well i now have the car for three days i have done 1400 km around the first 1075 was the day i picked it up and it was raining and dry conditions..

Firstly the car is big in size as you all no and yes you feel the weight and size and also the car feels very solid in terms off the doors are heavy and stuff overall in general a very good car..

Its a 4.4l so as you all can imagine with a full 4x4 vhechicle and that engine it is thirsty i got 14.6l per 100km on my 1075 km trip where i was doing betwwen 120 and 160 at diferent times it was 95 percent highwaydriving. It is very luxurios and a comfy car and sits well on the highway and cruising.the car has many features almost everything in terms off extras you will get on a MB or other german cars are all standar on the RR which i must say is very very impressive and i wish the german manufactures went a simalar way atleast with some off the basic extras .Interior seats are very nice and sporty and comfy both at the same time it is obvously spacious but for the size not as spacious as you would expect..

My few complaints first in the rain when it hits puddles or water streams sort off on the highway the car is not best in terms off control i was a slight bit dissapointed in that in terms off dynamics its not a great handler in cornering but i suppose its the size..

All in all for the price i paid i dont think i could have got anything close to what i am now driving i think and from the firends i have in the car trade i have gotten a bargain and a great car so its a win win situattion the dealer also put me 4 brand new tyres which cost actually 16 thosuand rands..

regards

I bet the RR interior feels more special then the Benz! Congratulations man.

What's amazing is that you made a profit on the sale of a car lol.

Well MR Mercedes its difficult for me to say its more special.I think they both have their advantages i shure prefer the air or room in the GL over the RR and i feel some off the materials are not on par to the satatu soff a RR.Just my thaughts
