Excellent video.

...to be in queue for the LaFer successor.
It makes me think of people who were forced to buy a Portofini. They gave it to their wives to drive! Funny to hear Shmee say that it's not a precious car but one that he can lend to his dad for two months or to a visting friend to drive. hahaha

It tells you how much he really wanted to buy it.

I need to see one in person, it's stunning in video if not in pictures.

For an "entry-level" Ferrari - can't really go wrong as long as you temper expectations that it's not 296 levels of awesomeness. But, pretty and more than fast enough.

The 296 is the entry version here and the Roma is more expensive (though barely)

I guy living close to me has a Roma coupe which I see parked daily. It's not the best looking Ferrari for sure, and the open top version can almost be called ugly in my book.

Is it really?!? Damn - I thought 296 was quite a bit more expensive than Roma, car for car i.e. coupé for coupé, open-top for open-top.

Nope. Same was the case with the 488/F8 vs Portofino. Equally 'entry'.

So yeah, people choosing the Roma over a 296 are simply insane. If you want a more comfortable fast daily, get a Turbo S. Way superior in like every metric. And vastly better looking to boot.

In SA, and I'm pretty certain - without looking - in the rest of the world, the Roma is car-for-car considerably cheaper than the 296.
