A Corsa that doesn't give me a shrunk minivan look is a very good thing in my view. I like what I see (y)

I have a soft spot for Opel in general, and I hope they'll find their place and become successful after the long rough times they've been through. The design is still Opel, and it seems that the company will try to evolve the current design theme, but for some reason I feel some PSA (mainly Peugeot) vibes to it.

The gear lever and the infotainment screen are the first things to show the influence of the new owner. I know part sharing is common and it's okay I guess; just don't repeat the same old mistakes.

Better looking than the 208 with a proper sized steering wheel.

I don't know, both this and the 208 are really nice to look at. This Opel is better looking than anything GM made for them in the last 30 years.

I hope they do well. The Polo has had no real competition for years.

Jesus Christ. This has to be the biggest generational jump in car history. No matter what anyone thinks about PSA, they are just light years above GM.

Europeans cars are so ahead Americans is not even funny.

Interesting turn for the Corsa. I never found any appeal on any product from this brand, but this looks like a descent effort for one of the most competitive segments in Europe.

It's a shame we don't have a Punto anymore...

I was going to wade into this thread and dish out an anti-Opel flaying. But I can't - there's not much to fault here...

... except the badge on the grille.

Yes we need another Punto especially since the previous model lasted hundreds of years:p
Or felt like it.

Seriously,
Interesting choice we have now. The new Corsa and the Peugeot 208 look like extremely promising B-segment models.
I also think Opel have a better future under PSA than GM. It was going all Saab for a while there.
