Panamera Panamera on TOP GEAR test track (Surprize inside)

The Porsche Panamera is a mid to full-sized luxury car (E-segment or F-segment for LWB in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Porsche. The Panamera name, as with the Carrera name, is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.
The car is a weapon and will be even more lethal after a performance upgrade for the up coming facelift late next year.

I think the second generation Cayenne is a marked improvement over the first in terms of looks. If Porsche can do the same with the panamera, improve the performance incrementally, and step the styling up a notch or two, this thing will be phenomenal.

It seems like everything Porsche touches turns to gold. Odd to me, as it seems like everything aside from the 911 that they touch, resembles the look of poo.

Even with its funky styling, the Panamera is selling like hotcakes in the U.S it seems. I almost see more Panamera's than I do E-Classes, and E-Class are VERY popular out here.

That's what Porsche is. Their strength is not in producing a car with a rear mounted engine but in their talent in delivering beyond-possible performance in every car segment they are an actor.

this car is nothing less then extraordinary, the extra 40 horses package makes it even fatser!!This car may not be very photogenic, but in person a totally different impression is derived,it has so much presence to it.I grow more and more fond of what Porsche is doing these days.

:t-cheers:

Do you think that that "car with a rear mounted engine" artificially restricts the performance of the cayman and the boxster?

I keep wishing for something like a turbocharged four wheel drive cayman but doubt that Porsche will ever comply.

They dont want to step on the 911's toes,do they?
