Pictures [pictures] Bentley Arnage RL vs. Rolls Royce Phantom vs. Maybach 62 S

shit those are some serious cars..
i dont like that extended version of the Bentley
if it was the normal one it would be my choice..

the RR is not a drivers car..the 2 others are.. so i cant pick it here..

The MM wich i really dont like ..its not a nice looking car..
but in these shots it aswell loook spectacular..

So what would be my choice.. well none of these :Dhaha

PS
Ohh snap..just realised that all these cars are chauffeur cars..haha i thought it was a 52S..
well in that case give me the RR:D

I shiver to this pic

and the Maybach, looks like a car for gran-daddy pimp :D disgusting!, the RR is no beauty either but it look better than the competiton.

Crazy test, the backseat in the Maybach is as large as living room. The Roller looks less spacious than the other two, seem to be the SWB?

I find the over-wooded interiors repulsive! Like a cheap chinese interpretation of 'luxury'. No offense to anyone.

I'm a Woo-a-holic and the wood in the RR and Bentley looks a little crass. It all depends on what colour the leather and wood is. Wood tend to look better with light coloured leather.

Bentley for the buisness meetings, and getting driven around town in, Roller for driving myself around town and when I want to make an entrance...and the MM...NEVER. The other two do luxury well enough, and the interior comfort will not make up for the exterior looks, even though the s model does look a heck of a lot better.
If I had to take one it would be Bentley. Black on that cream interior but with a different wood.

The Rolls Royce interior is just amazing... the Maybachs looks cold and rubbish.. still would love to be in there but :D And never been a fan of bentleys so I couldn't give two hoots how it looked... Still an amazing vehicle but would never even if i could afford all three at once get a bentley... not the current one atleast

Bentley is still my favorite in this segment. Nevertheless I just can't see myself driving or being driven in a car like this even if I had the money.

^ I think I'd stick with an S Class or a 7er..... there still amazing cars and there not impossible to park (plus you could proberly get an M5 as well and still save yourself money) :D:D

Fantastic.

Do you know I have been looking for new pictures of that Arnage limousine for so long ....it is a lot prettier than the other two. All three cars look amazing in those pictures.

I agree with you. I think that lighter-colour wood (light-oak in the Bentley) is not nice at all. But I assure you, any perceptions of "cheapness" begin and end there -- the wood work in the Bentley particularly, is crafted with exceptional care and attention to detail.

There is only one choice for me here though ....it's the Phantom without a doubt. :)

Great pics. They all look nice and came with individual pack, so it’s very difficult to say which is better or nicer. My choice would be RR for its stylish exterior and more choices for prettier "woody" interior. :usa7uh:

Should have made this a poll....

VERY NICE CHOICES....

Love the Arnage interior, amazing, preffer the Phanton exterior becasue of its aggresiveness overall, but the interior is the blandest of the three....

Thus my choice, the Super stunning Maybach 62 S. Holy Sh*t, that is one hot car exterior and interior combined...

Especially the white one Mr.Ree chose to display... WOW... Perfect for my
type of drive and style.

Great thread, thanks!!! :usa7uh:

It seems like both RR and Maybach understands that to create a luxury interior, you don't have to cover every single inch of the interior with wood, like the Bentley. It is just too excessive, and the overall effect is that they simply want to put the maximum amount of wood in there

^^But that is the way Rolls and Bentley have always done it ...it is one of the virtues of the brand -- I think this particular blond colour wood is not the most elegant choice. The Arnage is actually looking very out-of-date ...and the Maybach is charmless to me.

I agree with Alex that the Rolls interior looks bland in the pictures ...but it certainly in not bland IRL.

Besides, there are plenty of options one can get in the Rolls to make it more interesting. And the Rolls has individual TVs (unlike the Bentley) and larger than the Maybach's.

Bentley for me, no doubt....Stunning car. The only one that appeal to me.
But with a darker wood please!

It is old-fashioned, like I like. Not harsh or aggressive looking like the Rolls, not cold-modern like the MM...Just perfect. Old-school limo.

The MM interior looks busy, with things everywhere without any design or order in that pic...But the seats, roof-dials and glass-roof are just amazing.

In these cars, a chauffeur-separation is absolutely imperative.

But the Rolls was the SWB, no? Looks so small at the rear compared to the Bentley (I won't speak of the MM here :D). And yes, quite blank-looking interior compared to the two others.

Imo it lacks the old-fashioned authenticity, the fabulous wood work, the massive impression of the Bentley, but it does not have the equipment, unique features and modernity of the MM.

Thanks a lot for the pics of the Bentley, so hard to find in LWB!

^^It is the LWB Phantom.

Which features does the Phantom lack exactly? ...as far as I'm aware it extends only to the fully-reclining air-conditioned seats, and the electrochromatic glass roof. According to all reviews, the Rolls has an absolutely amazing entertainment system with unsurpassed sound quality.

In all actuality, the Phantom is state-of-the-art, the production process of the Phantom is more advanced than that of the Maybach.

Plenty of room in there:

Thanks for the thanks guys. You are far too generous

^^^^Oh no, you're not getting off that easily Marcus.

How is the Bentley more authentic than the Rolls or Maybach? ...you are beginning to sound like Raoul. ;)
