Samsung Galaxy Note 7

I have the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and love it. However I don't know how useful the pen is. I have stylus for my iPad which I have hardly used.

I was a little intimidated by the stylus until I did some research. If you don`t believe you need the stylus than the Note is not for you. I find it extremely useful for taking notes on courses and or extreme multitasking.

My previous phone bit the dust so I had to
upgrade pretty quick. After a little investigation, I recently decided to go with the Galaxy Note 4 (the one in the pic is mine). I really wanted to go with the 5 but did not because it is an internal memory only. On top of that the battery cannot be replaced.

Though the Note 4 is not new, it is still one pretty awesome phone. The battery, at 3220mah, under light to moderate use pretty much lasts all day. I am usually down to 20% without recharging which is pretty darn good for a 7 1/2 hour period from a full charge. (The upcoming Note 7 is said to have a 4000+mah battery according to some rumors.) With that being said I probably won`t need a replacement battery. I also like that the memory can be expanded which is great) I will be upgrading to the Note7. Right now I am enjoying the Note4.

The Note 4 is packed with so many damn features! I can only imagine what the upcoming 7 will be like.
This video shows a few.

I've already put in a pre-order for my wife. She'll be upgrading from her Galaxy S5 which is starting to act up a bit. I'll probably wait a few more months since my S5 is working fine. Give me time to play around with the Note7 to decide whether the size is right, or if I should just get the S7 Edge.

Should have the phone in about 2 weeks!

Did you get an explosive battery ?

Haha, no .... well it hasn't exploded yet.

We've decided to just hold on to it until the replacements are available. The only thing we've changed is to not charge it overnight. She now just charges it at work.

Interesting situation I have to admit, but I have full faith that the replacement 7's should be just fine.

I find your zen attitude remarkable, personally i wouldn't touch the thing until Samsung changes it. I can't believe a monumental flaw design like this has passed through QA.

I think you would be more likely to get hit by a bus than to have your Note 7 burst into flames. It's very disappointing that this is happening, it's inconvenient for sure, but I'm not going to over-sensationalize it considering the very rare instances this issue has actually occurred to date.
