Laughing, dancing, joining in and singing along – all this is possible during the stage shows. The children’s musical Bibi & Tina with the “extraterrestrial hit parade” is always very popular. Numerous mascots including Fritzle (VfB), Johnny Blue (TVB Stuttgart), Luftikus (Luftballon parents’ newspaper) and Wonni (Wonnemar adventure pool), as well as Museum mascot Carlotta, will be on the scene for selfies.
Automobiles are also part of the Family Day. A Mercedes-Benz O 3500 from 1950 and a Mercedes-Benz O 6600 from 1966 will be alternatingly commuting every hour from Börsenplatz in Stuttgart-Mitte to the Museum. This is where the open-brand classic-car meet “Classics & Coffee” with a focus on the G-Class will be taking place. The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the Mercedes-Benz Sustaineer Sprinter, which represents the future of urban logistics, will also be on display. Visitors can experience automotive history right up close by taking a ride in an authentic replica of the Benz Patent Motor Car from 1886 and in other classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
