Regarding the Rafale badge in script italics: I don't know if Renault is trying to emulate the latin brands (Alfa Romeo, Seat...), or better even, Porsche who can uniquely combine a high precision, 'rational' design with an overall relaxed, un-serious vibe, but that script lettering doesn't really suit Renault's current or past identity. They'd first have to earn a reputation of reliability and a credibility for premium aspirations (after 2-3 decades of quite poorly built, mostly family-oriented, 'popular' models), in order to back up this new design which has clearly stepped up its game with the recent arrival of ex-Peugeot's chief designer Gilles Vidal; and that takes some time.

Modern Renault interiors are some of the worst of the entire industry, including brands from China that only exist 10 years.

Absolutely ghastly.

And that Audi Q4 too. Horrible design beyond words. Cheap Korean at best.

It would be more interesting to read such extreme criticism being backed by actual arguments. Real life reviews of recent Renault models are consistently pointing out a visible step-up in terms of fit and finish, ergonomics and OS tech. As for esthetics alone, it's clean, simple and rational, which is in line with the general trend.

Is the Alpine A (seat) a trim, or something else?

The leaked car is obviously an Esprit Alpine ("Alpine Spirit") trim version, equivalent to BMW's M Sport or Mercedes's AMG Line. That A logo on the seat back is most likely knitted, but it does seem to have a glow around it on this low-res picture that makes it look like a cluster of LEDs.
