Aston Martin DB9 successor spied testing undisguised

Attachments

IMO the front bumper looks too agressive for a db9 with the sharp cuts, it should be more subtle. Save those lines for the DBS successor

The biggest change I see is the duck tail flanked by a more muscular rear that pays homage to the One-77. It's finally time to innovate the classic but ageing design. I'm sure we won't be dissapointed. I saw an orange Aston Martin Virage in the Italian mountains last year, testing its Brembo brakes, and my heart melted.

I think Aston Martins (and Maseratis) should be seen in real life to really see their value. Pics do not do them any justice, because we are used to them yet we rarely see them on the roads, compared to normal cars.

I like the part where its completely undisguised.

IMO AM makes cars like the 911 and the S Class. They're beautiful every time, year after year. Simple, timeless design. Oh and one of the nicest rears in the business.

Seems like another DB9 facelift.

I just hope they get a major hardware refresh, the V12's and the transmissions are way past their sell-by date.

To me, in the Sports Car world, Aston and Porsche are pretty much untouchable in the timeless sense, especially in that they really keep to a close design language and ever so carefully refine it, allowing it to be evolutionarily iconicized.

It is just a mule no? Because those headlights are like of the Virage. I like the Prodive rims.

I really hope Aston-Martin has an update planned for their V12. It is seriously underpowered for the class and for its size. The exterior design continues to be IMO the best looking group of cars on the road.

+1

It really needs 600 PS, otherwise the first word is not true : Power Soul and Beauty.
