very nice pics, see a climate like this refreshes me, here where I am do as 1,000 degrees, in addition the X7 is seen right in their environment, ready to face the inclement weather

X5 looks far, far superior to me.
Its silhouette is great but I would have loved to see a sharper and little more coherent front. And my major gripes are still with the taillights which are indisputably generic. I think a solution along the lines of the 3er (also deviating from the classic BMW formula but slimmer and polarizing) would have given the X5 a sportier touch.

I absolutely agree : The taillights of the X5 are its weakest point, way too generic. I hope BMW solves this with the LCI. In the meantime they could offer a 'BMW Performance' upgrade accessory taillight, with the upper red part blacked out.

Although the taillights of the X7 are much better imho, I was disappointed that they are more in line with the pre-LCI version of the 7er and not using the new design theme of the LCI-7er, although both came out roughly at the same time. Now they look already 'previous generation' . But I guess that will be addressed with the X7 LCI.

Lookie at this article that I found, when doing a search for "BMW Dolomiti". Great pics of upcoming X7 interiors. And notice some new trims in there, including a herringbone hatched black wood with aluminum inserts. (I kinda like it. It's very different)

That Amarone/Black (2nd to last seat pic below, mahogany reddish brown leather) is pretty kick ass. Looks kind of like Cordovan leather to me. Very classy.

See the full article for leather and trim names.

I love the X5 rear lights. Indisputably is way over the top obviously. They look clean, very modern, distinct and very 3D. A breath of fresh air coming off decades of L-shaped themes.

I think a solution along the lines of the 3er (also deviating from the classic BMW formula but slimmer and polarizing) would have given the X5 a sportier touch.

Like the new X4 you mean? Can't we just have a few cars with unique rear lights?
And sportier? It looks like an athlete already imo. More isn't needed.

Sorry for the X5 talk guys. But the X7 is getting too much love in comparison ;)

We found this example on online at another BMW dealership and ended up switching to this instead of the X5 we had on order. Really sharp looking truck.

I’m actually really looking forward to it arriving. After 5 years of various RR’s, it’s nice to try something different.

Second row is a bench since it’ll be a family car.

Many congrats @sako97. Makes a lot of sense if the extra space is welcome. Superb combination too with a lovely color and wheels.

If you watch carefully, you can find many consistency vibe and style between X7 and 1st generation X5 which was really a outstanding works in history, far superior than rivals at that time.

The first gen X5 didn't even have any rivals, unless you consider the first gen ML a rival :D
