What do we make of President Trump's Constant Tweeting?

Is he on the cutting edge? - is this really a major threat to the press?

Will Social Media become the dominant way politicians communicate with the public?
.....will this catch on?

Furthermore, Trumps Twitter content could hardly be described as 'high-minded' ......is this damaging the office of President of the United States Of America? .....does anybody really care anymore?

There should be a psychological evaluation before being allowed to run for President. No old geezer should run any country.

Don’t want to violate forum rules, but hopefully voting (and non-voters) Americans will have learned a serious lesson come time for the next election.

Despite all this mess (and things will get much worse as more comes to light), there seems to be no successor figure on either side of the spectrum that can rise to the occasion and reinvigorate a beleaguered nation.

From top to bottom there are serious issues with elected officials. His buddy and weekend neighbor in New Jersey shut down the state’s beaches due to budget lockout.. only to be found sunbathing with family on a beach he ordered closed....

The only upside I can think of is that other world leaders, like China's president, have no idea whatsoever about what he's up to.
That's a huge plus. Trump, like China, doesn't need to press at all.

For the rest, I'd say Trump is the biggest fool I have ever seen as a world leader, and he will personally be responsible for America's downfall if things continue like they do.

But I don't care about the U.S. I care about the EU.

Trump will be reelected in 2020 because he's outspoken and people like that. He knows how to play the political war and generation Z is more conservative than the safe space, crybaby, lazy, "gimme free stuff", self-entitled, hateful, hypocrite millennial f#cktard generation, therefore the future generation will lean towards the right.

I never thought he was a suitable character for President ....but why does everybody totally ignore the serious activities that went on during Obama's Presidency? The Media just went to sleep for 8 years - too afraid of being called racist for criticising the first African American President.

Trump is dreadful ....but the alternatives weren't great either. Hillary Clinton has a long trail of scandal behind her.

I'm more interested in Trump's policies ....the Media is more focussed on his bombastic personality and childish behaviour.

Honestly, I don't think there is a big problem with racism, misogyny, or hate speech on this forum.
This is a very multi-cultural forum and most of the regular participants have been here for years.

Politics is a major part of all our lives ....but we can choose how much we will let it affect our personal relationships.
We have quite diverse views on this forum ....from very Pro-EU to Nationalist anti-Globalists; far-left Socialists to Libertarians. It is up to us whether we allow this thread to be intelligent and informative or if it descends into childish arguing.
