They did not seem very impressed with it. Too many electronics and too much understeer. Moreover, the 599 GTO actually lapped the TopGear track slower than the 458 Italia.

I kinda agree with TG here, I wouldn't call it a GTO, but the noise is insane. Plus, that laptime, I dont know if the one shown was the official timing for it, but stig seems to be shifting early in some spots, I caught him after hammerhead corner.

The 599 is still a gran turismo, even if it's called GTO.
Btw. I think the outside temperatures were low when The Stig drove the car, maybe the Pilot Super Sport tyres were cold as well...

And since when was Jeremy Clarkson a proper car reviewer? He stopped being that about twenty years ago. He's just a loosely car based entertainer now.
