Lambos have always been cool, but which one is the coolest for you and why? Is it Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago or new kid, Aventador?

*I'm talking about hyper Lambos so there isn't Gallardo

Coolest Lambo ever, for me is the Countach. That was the one I grew up with. LOVED that car. I love them all actually, next up would be the Diablo. After that its coin toss between the Aventador and the Murcielago. The Miura is beautiful, but I have no experience with it, never seen it in person.

There are so many of them that look like they were designed by Darth Vader on speed, but if I had won the lottery and it was in the middle of the winter and I needed something to get me safely to the Ferrari dealer, I'd go for something like the first Gallardo Superleggera.

Well for me its
1. Miura
2. Diablo
3. Murchiealago
I just think the Aventador looks slightly too over-the-top. If that was parked on a crowded 50% of people would be in awe and the other 50% would be thinking what a wan*er the owner is. Park an R8 on same street and that latter figure would drop to 10.

I voted for the Countach, which was a regular sight in my dreams when I was at that era of my life when my responsibilities and wallet contents were almost non-existing.

I fail to find the latest Lambos, ie the Gallardo, Murci and Aventador, exciting enough. Yes, the design of the Countach and the Diablo was as shouty as today's Lambos', but it was a different era back then. Most cars were just plain simple, and then there were the Countach. An extraordinary design and a devil under the hood. Something would break more frequent than you would go to the toilet. Now, Lambo is all about fancy design and crazy numbers. I can't find any "soul" in them...

But that's just my opinion :)

Countach without even thinking. The Countach set the alien spaceship image every other supercar maker now and then applies to they car. (just look at the scissor doors) IMO the original gullwing and the Countach have been the most important supercar evers, image wise.

Regards!

The Countach is the king of cool. It's unfair to even put it there.

For modern ones, Aventador all the way, followed by Murci, then Diablo. Lambo is one of the only manufacturers that makes me fawn for their new iterations more than the previous ones ALWAYS, as it's rare for me to like cars of long lineages based simply on "which one is newer".

However, to keep with my typical theme, the Countach trumps all, so the Great Granddad gets the top spot.

As for which one I'd rather realistically own and drive today in my life? Aventador without a shadow of a doubt. Even though it'll make me look like a complete showy douchebag to perhaps more people than it'll impress. I like more conservative and "timelessly themed" cars, but when it comes to Lambo, the louder the better.

Think I'll go with the Miura from the list. I prefer the sleek, curvaceous look to the more angular design of modern cars, which are overwrought by comparison and can date pretty fast. Scissor doors are a nice novelty, but they're kind of overplayed now, especially in the aftermarket. I think the front and rear clamshells of the Miura are a nice party trick themselves. Seems to finish off the 60's Le Mans vibe of the car. Which, if I'm not mistaken, is also the one that sparked the term "supercar" in modern times.

I find the Diablo GT hugely appealing too.

Never liked Lambos, but i have to agree with Guibo - Miura is the only one i like because of it's timeless design that looks awesome still today after all those years...(y)

There just is something special about the lines on this car. Agressive without looking too much like a bull (Murci) and yet sleek, beautiful and timeless. Not to mention one of the best engine noises of all time!
