2013/2014 Garage Update

The S6 is a great understated super saloon. What colour are you considering?

Suzuka Grey or Estoril Blue... a white, black or silver one would do the job too :)
The car looks so good in any color so it's almost impossible to pick one. As I already said I'll wait for the facelift which might bring some new colors too.

I'm a fan of Estroil Blue at the moment but what I'm a really big fan of is that 4.0TFSI engine, Audi have a knack at making their engines sound throaty and this one is no different.

Plus that cylinder deactivation is perfect for the world we now live in and its Quattro system guarantees all its power will be available almost all of the time and there's no point of shoehorning a beastly engine under the hood if you ain't going to able use it.....right.:D

Since I bough my first ever V8... the R8 V8... I simply fell in love with it.
I love V10s, I6s, H6s and V12s... now I add the V8 to that list too... just because of the sound!
The S6 is EXACTLY what I want my daily to look like and the engine is just perfect!
The S1 will join the R8 in the fun daily/track toy stable.
I need the S6 to replace my S65 AMG... or maybe I'll keep both. We'll see :)
VAG domination :D

Why would you replace the S65?? Do you want to try something new or something's wrong with the AMG?

VAG's awesome by the way, make sure to get full LED headlamps (im pretty sure they're standard on S6), they look awesome!

I'm not an LED fan. I always prefer Xenon but I'm OK with anything.
Nothing's wrong with the S65 I just want to add an S6 to my stable. Not sure if I'm going to need both and that's the main problem.
I'm keeping both the S65 and R8 for now :)

Thank you! I'll post pictures as always :)
I'm also waiting for the Audi S6 facelift and the first reviews of the Huracan... so there might be some other VAG stuff coming my way in the not so distant future.

You got hit by a truck or something? You sure you are ok?

LOL congrats :D

I still prefer Bimmers when it comes to driver enjoyment but they are not good enough anymore... at least for me.
I'll go with Audi since they have a flawless looking line up unlike BMW and especially MB... ahh and they offer what I need/want.

PS: Should have been a train. A truck... ain't enough :D

I think I would pick a BMW over the others, if theres a chance this year I would like to get a 118i, or 320i. They are in my 10+ list of worthy cars to replace my VW haha. I don't know but there's a voice in my head telling me to do it. BUT, if I were talking serious business like you in the A6 range, I would probably go with the Audi aswell

Yes. 320i xDrive. It doesn't drive like the previous BMW's but, it's really comfortable, and the gas milage is as good as the family Camry.
What's the difference with previous BMWs? I was considering an E46 since I made a question in this forum about which car to get, but now I think maybe it's possible for me to get a new BMW this year.

The car rolls significantly in the bends. It's kind of annoying. No Dynamic Handling package available. Seats are ok, the car is comfortable and great for day to day. Power is lacking but, I primarily use the car to go to school and back 50 miles each way. Gas was my concern, and boy does it deliver in that department.

Did you ordered sport suspension? I would get a RWD 6-speed sportline and I think it has the sport suspension (maybe I should get adaptative m suspension?). I guess I'll have to test drive it when the time comes. Anyway, my other option is a 118i F21 or pick one of my other options, which will surely be FWD, so the F30 will still out handle them.

BTW, thanks for the info

No, There is no adaptive suspension available for the 320i unfortunately, there is no Sport suspension available for it either. The Sport package just gives you Sport Seats, different wheels, and anthracite headliner. No M-Sport line available in the US either. That's the only real annoyance I have withe the car. The body roll is really terrible.

My pleasure, if you have any other questions, please let me know. I'm happy to help.

You live in the US? I ask because it's different here. You choose from 320i, 328i, 335i and then choose trim. On sport line and M-Sport you can opt to get a 6-speed for approx $1500 less. Last thing is optioning the car, there are no packages here so you can opt for a sport suspension in a 320i Sport. You have to tick boxes for everything individually though, ant it's expensive (I was looking at BMW USA configurator and I think its cheaper since it comes in packages). Good thing is you can order adaptative suspension for the 320i. Another downside to this is if you ask for a simple stereo upgrade to h/k you will receive your car in 3 months instead of weeks. Anything you ask for, even manual transmission, changes the delivery time to 3 months. And salesman looks like he does not want to sell me (especially lease me) a manual 3 series because it will be "difficult to sell it later" and "BMW buyers don't buy manuals", yeah right. Thanks again, I hope I can join the F30 club this year!

P.S. I'll share this link to BMW's page if anyone want's to build a mexican spec 3 series out of curiosity

I'm an ex F10 owner so I can assure you that the 5-Series is the best car in this class by a big margin... both the E-CLass and A6 lack behind IMO.
The S6 tho is a different story... and looks FANTASTIC! :)

I'm sure you will like it a lot! How's the S1 so far? Is it facelifted already? I read somewhere a facelift was coming for the A1

The S1 introduces the facelift I guess!
I'm still waiting for the S1. We don't even have the order list yet since it was just unveiled :)
