X3/X4 2024 BMW X3

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.

As the evidence is slowly unveiled. A new render appears.

The Kidney grille lower edge is slightly inwards compared to the X1 placement here.
It’s like the XM concept previewed the new X look especially the shard of the headlights connecting to the grilles edge.

Except for the grille, is this anywhere close? Seems several people have already seen it in closed room presentations and probably also the journalists that drove the prototype last week I suppose.

I think it's not that bad. Body is a bit lumpy like the iX but the front end is way better than the 5er and 1er.

The side profile and character line are very iX-esque. The M50 will definitely have a different grille pattern compared to the typical standard line and M Sport package if we are looking into BMW's recent M Performance models like the i5 M60 and M135 with their horizontal grilles.

Yes M50 has the Horizontal bars.

The grill design with the diagonal bars ruins what would be a great looking SUV. I'd have one, but I'd pick a spec which comes without that kidney design.

Well luckily BMW these days have like three different grilles for the same car, so there's some hope left for you ;)

IMO, the X1 is by far the best new design by BMW, and this new X3 could improve upon that even further. I do agree about the fugly graphics inside the grille, but the iX1 has that too and it's not a deal breaker, unlike the design of pretty much the rest of the new line-up.

Finally an X3 generation that introduces new design details and doesn't cool dull at the front.

Like what? It's a bigger X1
