I was left disappointed with the concept and the mules so far don’t inspire any sort of confidence. In a world where Posche Taycan ecists, this GT EV’s design falls way short.
I'm also waiting for an analysis of BMW.
GLC EV and may be some hints regarding the future. What exactly are we going to see from Mercedes next month?

As I've said before, I prefer repetition to ugly. BMW's bumper designs are tainting my aesthetic. We'll see similar designs with the neue klasse philosophy. I think then your opinion will change, and it won't be boring for you.![]()

Do you see anything repetitive ? Well, you can’t. Cause there isn’t one.
This is not even the full lineup. Every model has its own design DNA.
If you google a specific Mercedes model with an AMG package or even a base version, they all have the same design elements. They don’t even try to change it. Just copy paste and you’re good to go.

The design , cars, clothes, watches, and so on , is very personal. You like it or not, but it doesn’t mean it is good or bad, just different.
Concerning Mercedes, and I am 63 years old, I like classic car’s design. Even though,I think they are doing quite a good job, trying to make their products attractive for everyone, in every country for different mentalities.Mission impossible of course, but they try.
We should concentrate our discussions on technology and innovation which, I think , gives the car the best possible quality . Of course we can give our opinions concerning the design but with respect to the others.
I am confident about Mercedes future because is working hard, really hard, adapting the company to this world that changes every day.
On the coming months and years we’ll see the result of this effort.
Have a nice day to everyone

72 years old here. And I agree the volume manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz are obligated to present production vehicle design that in most aspects appeal to a broad consumer demographic. There is little if any room for truly adventurous experimentation. Being "too far ahead of it's time" is often destined to fail-with few notable exceptions. The EQE/EQS sedans exemplify this.Concerning Mercedes, and I am 63 years old, I like classic car’s design. Yes, almost exclusively a matter of subjectivity. Other than the factual "a cylinder is a cylinder", "an ellipse is an elipse", "there are concave and convex surfaces", "a Werner Boy surface sculpturing does not work in automotive design", etc.

Respect is paramount. Of course, the recognition that design plays a significant role regarding a larger acceptance and hence commercial success of a vehicle is important. Unpalatable design quickly alienates, a valid case in point being the above mentioned EQE/EQS sedans. Technologically speaking, formidable, innovative automobiles yet arguably unit sales failures. Many more consumers would have embraced the cars and their tech were they not perceived as eyesores by so many.
I'd say that I am confident that M-B is working hard. They have no choice other than to do so in an increasingly treacherous business environment. As a German, fan of automotives since early childhood and an "on-and-off" fan of the specific brand, I wish them all the luck in the world.
Looking forward to that. There is precious little time left. And a nice day to you as well, sir.
