Vantage Aston Martin V12 Vantage

Aston should have had the latest version of MBUX in everything they make by now. I thought I read that for model year 2023 all interiors receive a massive update.

I am surprised that the V12 doesnt feature the interior seen in the speedster. Poor product planning imo.

Meanwhile, the engineers loved working under Moers. I have a few friends working in AM and they've only had good things to say about him.

This is nitpicking on this car. In the real world of driving this car will knock your socks off. For a car this special and rare I couldn’t care less if some journalist doesn’t think it’s loud enough or handles like a slot car.

I see Moers more as the problem not as the solution.

I don't think so. He's known to be a popular leader amongst engineers, if not his corporate peers who lead other functions. He also implemented a bunch of changes to sort out of the half-baked suspension tuning on other models.

This Vantage seems to be optimized for the V8 with the V12 clearly being an afterthought.

The exhaust noise is dissapointing for a V12. Sound great but no where near as dragon-like as the Vantage GT12. Having watched a few reviews of the new car, it doesn't appear to sound louder or more iconic than the V8.

For sound you are better off buying an 812 or Aventador.

I wouldn't be surprised if some orders are cancelled.

The GT12 sounds heavenly good.

I don’t understand how Aston is thinking. The Aston’s has always been behind their rivals dynamically and with reference to performance/handling. But they had their own style and caracter…and wonderful noise. What is left now of this with this model…?
