Vanquish Aston Martin Vanquish Gen 3

Great design, and the interior seems to be put together more coherently than preceding Aston models....Would be curious to see how it drives, as I didn't really get to watch any videos of it yet

Some reviews have shown loose panels and included complaints about the infotainment. Either way it's a big step forward for Aston.

I wonder whether their relationship with Zagato has ended. The DBS looks haute couture and so do Aston'gs ultra limited edition models. Maybe there's scope to move the Zagato collaboration further upmarket and more ambitious?

If you will watch they say it's best Aston yet. And Jethro Bovingdon and John Barker two great journalists prefer it to Ferrari 12Cilindri...

Wouldn't this be absolutely grand ? :

It looks great. Its just too large to be a 2-seater IMO, it should have been a 2+2. The distance between the rear wheel well and the door suggests it. A liftback cutaway into the rear window wouldn`t have hurt it one bit.

Agreed—the AM GT embodies everything one expects from the genre, the very definition of elegance and tradition. But in many ways, it feels conventional and familiar.

The 12 Cilindri, on the other hand, is far from universally palatable. Yet its overall shape and stance are undeniably intriguing. Its proportions aren’t classically perfect but instead present a modern, almost technical reinterpretation of the GT ethos.

Its surface treatment is taut, crisp, and clean— more precise than the sensual AM. This sharpness lends it a sense of progressiveness, further emphasized by bold, striking details and novel forms. Devoid of overt emotional expression, the 12 Cilindri’s design remains captivating.

Where the AM refines and perfects familiar themes, the Ferrari ventures into new territory, pushing boundaries in ways that are both confrontational and compelling. The 12 challenges expectations at every turn—and that’s precisely what makes it so beguiling. IMO.
