Zagato Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupé production model

Zagato is a coachbuilding company founded by Ugo Zagato in 1919. The design center of the company is located in Terrazzano, a village near Rho, Lombardy, Italy.
All of it. The entire concept, styling, interior treatment - I feel it has a distinctly old school feel about it. Now that's not to say it's retro because that's a different context.
If you compare it against the DB11 the only bit of the interior that looks dated in the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen. But I hear ya.

This is clearly a car you buy to not drive but stare at, or in the case for some, buy two. One as store of value and the other for flexing on the streets of Monaco and Cannes.

Not to detract, but I think they will bring out a new gen. Maybe in one or two years?

Yeah, don't want to detract too much either. However...the Alfieri-based production car was supposed to be the replacement, and I think it's part of the Maser's 5-year product plan FCA released recently. I think there's still debate whether they are going to do an electric-exclusive approach or an ICE and electric approach. Whatever it is, it will not come out immediately after the GT/GC is put out into the pastures. When I get a chance to look it up, I'll update.

I do feel this car has an old school coach building feel to it. I like the seamless one piece front panels and the rear panels, not a panel line in sight.

It's a seamless car in other areas too. The rear fenders, bumper, sill below the doors and roof are a single piece. You can barely tell that the rear windshield is part of the boot opening.

Impeccable body work to say the least.

Ok, so this is my last post as a follow-up since I don't want to side-track this thread's subject.
- Alfieri production car seems green-lit, but not for imemdiate GT/GC replacement but available by or before 2022
- available in 3 flavors: all-electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid.
- based on Giorgio platform (i.e. Giulia, Stelvio, upcoming GTV, etc.)

And now back to the lovely Vanquish Zagato. Sorry guys for the slight derailment.

So...some wealthy customer bought all versions of the Vanquish Zagato.
