V6 would be disappointing.
I fully agree with you. Now you can see that they spent the whole budget on EVs, which in the US nobody’s going to buy.Wish they would keep making the 5 Cyls for the US market. Europe really is ruining it for the rest of us when it comes to cars.
Well, i guess will see that next year. What you hear is different from what you see. All of the spy videos of the RS 6 clearly have a V6 exhaust note. So I'll believe it when I see it
Unless they plan on releasing a V8 that sounds exactly like a V6, not happening buddy.Well, i guess will see that next year.
In Europe they built a sq5 tdi with a Loudspeaker in the exhaust.Unless they plan on releasing a V8 that sounds exactly like a V6, not happening buddy.
Also can we stop with the super derivative AI renders that are being posted to like every thread?
Good suggestion. The point of the “What’s new… “ threads is to post on new industry developments for that brand. Also can we stop with the super derivative AI renders that are being posted to like every thread?

Nothing prevents one from creating a new thread for brand-specific AI renders.
It just gets a little tiresome seeing them everywhere, social media and now here. They all are just varied versions of cars that already exist for the most part. Not a bad suggestion at all, actually.
As for me, I hadn't realized that an aversion towards AI generated images is shared by more than a few. I'll simply stop posting these on these boards. No hard feelings whatsoever.

GCF should ban all AI generated content, it's ruining the internet, please don't let it ruin this site!!.
As a person that was involved previously with CAD/CAM and product design, I do find the AI tools for designing a car and other applications quite interesting. I have tried Midjourney for various image generations, such as different cars and also some fun pics of family and friends and found it fascinating. Of course, the AI generation is not perfect and, in my opinion, doesn't replace the designs that are human generated by hand or computer applications. There are more originality and imagination with human creations. It has been suggested that this issue can be resolved by establishing a forum category exclusively for CGI/AI automotive images. That seems FAR more rational IMHO than levying a ban.
As for my more recent plethora of text prompted AI images...I'm OUT as far as this website is concerned. Dedicated forum category or not. Which would probably be DoA here anyway. AI images are clearly not popular here. I can understand and respect that.

I agree.
However, execs love cost cutting in the form of reducing headcount. So...
