The official pics have been leaked by WCF, the Press Release should be out tomorrow.

WCF

A quite modern exterior (sharp edge & creases + a mix of curvy & boxy panels) although a bit kitschy, and a very traditional & old-fashioned interior (old-luxury style design, material & trim ... absolutely not even a hint of avant-garde).

An interesting design mix ...

The evolutionized front (with Mulsanne-esque headlight graphics) looks rather boring & predicting to me (incl. the 1/4 view) - It looks almost like a Rover!

Side profile looks rather clumsy ... The stane is very FWDish ... The character line is kind of goofy-looking & quite poorly executed ... just too wavy ... up & down & up & down etc ... Side profile also shows a very powerful rear end and somehow weak front end.

But I'm very intrigued by the tail & 3/4 view. I like it! IMO the tail is the most modern part of the car - design wise.

In the end - mostly due the tail design - it gets a positive note from me. :)

Yet IMHO RR is still better @ combining traditional, conservative & old-fashioned with avant-garde, progressive & modern.

I like it. I really like the rear design, those lights give a hint of traditional british luxury, with older Aston Martins coming to my mind. I have no issues with the front - I didn't expect anything other than its Muslannization. I do agree with EnI about the side profile, it's too FWDish, but other than that, the design flows quite easily.

It's not a plain design, but it's not overly complex either. Easy to understand and elegant. I quite like it overall!

Is this a brand new car?

Anyway.. the rear is so damn great...i love it..looks mean sporty and classy at once.. like old bentleys..love it!!!
The front is well..froggy..but i think it will be better in real life..
Interior is stupendous as always when it comes to bentley. Side profile is great to:)

All in all i give it 7/10.. ( i hated the old conti )

You know what? It's curvier and lumpier than the current one, but somehow it manages to look a lot better than the current one. I like it.

Haha ive noticed a few times over the last days..that some of our members has acquired the skill of ocularly judging if a car is FWD,AWD or RWD..

Please explain..it amazes me :D

You can look at the front overhang and more imporantly how close the front wheels are the front doors. If the front wheels are real close to the front doors then it is a clear sign of a FWD layout. They've done a much better job this time, but clearly all the signs of a FWD layout is there. The Audi A8 suffers terribly from the same problem.

The old school squarish rear end just doesn't work with the soft round front.

On the Mulsanne that is the case, but not here IMO. They've done a much better job to my eyes. The heavy rear end is pure Bentley. This one is a winner compared to the boxcar on the road now lol.

I just adore the rear! Awesome!(y)

The slimmer rear light units and tapering down of the rear boodlid deck form the rear window to the bumper is so english. Looks authentic Brtitish.:jimlad:

What is generally called FWD dimensions, is a quite big front overhang. FWD is there because the engine has to sit in front or just over the front axle, so there's the need for that space. In RWD cars, though, there's no need to have anything close to the front axle, as the power goes to the rear, so the relative position of the engine to the front axle, is irrelevant, and the front wheels can be pushed far to the front of the car, giving it a very nice side profile.

:)

Absolutely beautiful. Looks way better than expected*. Way to go Bentley.

* Considering the fact it came from the people who came up with a creation like EXP 9-F. :D
