why is it a PS???

BTW, anyone with a nice pic of the E92 with dark colours to use as a wallpaper?

Because it has a sportpack bumper... which isn't out for the Coupe yet. Still looks great though.

I also think that the new BMWs look best in light colors. Although a black E90 is still a good looking car, a silver or white one is just almost a different beast.

OH OH! are these the videos they will use for the commercials! just listen to that 300hp engine!

Honestly I must say that this car has completely grown on me. At times I deal well with the back and at times I don't. Nevertheless, we are getting there. The samething happened with the 6er! I wonder what the M3 is going to look like. Can't wait!

ye its confirmed by the video...best looking 'practical' bmw probablyever....bes looking BMW's still 507 and 1939 328

Those vids were awesome, so awesome, so fresh.. so clean.. lol, j/p, but seriously this car is tops. I really thought I'd like the 6er when it first came out, and was quite disapointed, and this car... I had low expectations for, honestly, but it looks off the chain, scale, rictor.. it's out of control good looking!!! I want one, and realistically I'll probably be buying my next car, I don't want to depend on the parents for anything by the time I'm done w/ school, so I might buy one second hand(which is probably better than buying it new w/ the added CPO warranty, which I really like). Either way, a BMW coupe is gonna happen baby!!!:D :D :D - how many smilies was that?? :t-cheers:

same if i get into med school... me wants to get

with the fuel prices, i'll just get a 116i or something instead :P

Anyway, my problem with the rear is the boot looks too 'short', not high enough, but probably in real life that adds sleekness... but those lights, i really hate the bit that is on the bootlid, it looks pretty cheap imo, and i don't find it very sporty... E46 is always so perfect, the E46 coupe is just perfection..

nah, I disagree, E46 still look good but I have always had problem with the rearlights although they look better than on the E46 Sedan.

A change is good

BMW made changes in their line up starting with the 7er. For years I have been set back by the designs they have gone through and incorporated. For the most part it has to do with some sharp edges and bland curves. The radical rear of the 7er and 6er. The front of the 5er, etc. It has been hard to look at it, but I had come to the conclusion that BMW has changed. To me BMW was not what they used to be and would never be At one time I looked at the old 3er, 5er, and 7er as true BMW cars, oh and I forgot the Z3. They all had a driver oriented cockpit, and it was BMW. When the new 7er came around I thought, "oh no! this is not BMW, what are they doing!." It was hard for a long time, but the designs grew. The designs grew not in relation to whether it was BMW, but relative to whether I liked it or not. I have come to accept them in wearing the BMW badge. This badge in essence represented the "Ultimate Driving Machine." Its been a while since I have tagged BMW's new design the same way as I did when I was young. I used to look at the Z3 as an incredible piece of machinery. The 3er was just stunning and sporty! The 5er was the most gorgeous mid-size sedan and the 7er...what can I say...the true flagship.

Today in looking at the E92's interior something clicked inside of me. Look at the way the design has changed for BMW it no longer was a design which I tagged BMW to it...it was a design that I came to realize is BMW. BMW is still BMW, they have just updated their philosophy. I see now the ultimate driving machine. I see the BMW core philosophy chiseled into the sides of the car. This reflection has taken a while to actually be acknowledged. When BMW once again shifts its design's in a decade or so, we will look at the current 3er, 5er, 6er, 7er, Z4, etc. as the ultimate driving machine, the true BMW! Nevertheless, we must never forget that no matter how many radical designs are presented by BMW, it is BMW to do such things.

I would like to congratulate BMW for sticking to their philosophy, not being afraid, and not reacting to monstrous supercharged engines and believing in themselves. Thank you for making me see that BMW has not changed whatsoever.

....every Bmw models except 7 and 6 have problems but its only because of trim levels....eg 323i does not look good but 330i w sport package or m pack are some of the bestlooking sedans ive seen lately....

I agree, there are actually two on my street both blk/blk. Really nice!:usa7uh: Outside the E46 330i w/ M aerodynamic kit I'm not so sure about the rest of the lineup, the f/l E46 cars are all still very attractive to me, I like the headlamp design and some of the wheel upgrades they did. It always seems that the facelifts translate in to better designs than their predecessors, I guess because the pre-facelift design has been given time to work in the real world and they can refine whatever traits need alteration to make the design even stronger than what it is at the current time.
