The ZR1 did really well here compared to Laguna. For a 2:40 lap the GT2 RS's Cup 2 R margin doesn't look that big at <1s/minute.

This tyre difference is total crap. They should do comparisons with same tyres to be fair. The comparison in evo magazine between GT2 RS, Ford GT, AMG GT R and Lotus Exige Cup 430 was the best to date. Everyone on same Michelin Cup 2 tyres.

Yes, ZR1 used the same sticky ZP tyre in Laguna.
