Breathalizers won’t solve the problem. How can it tell it’s the driver who’s doing the test and not someone else?

What are the chances of a passenger or friend performing the test for someone they know is drunk?

What are the chances of a passenger or friend performing the test for someone they know is drunk?

If they're young and/or irresponsible, quite high. I'm also sure someone could MacGyver their way around it too, e.g. by expending a balloon they prepared earlier into it. It only works when a cop does it because he's there to monitor how the sample is provided.
