The Raptor T1+ is Ford Performance’s most extreme Raptor yet, developed in partnership with M-Sport and Red Bull, and designed specifically for top-tier rally raid challenges like the Dakar Rally
Engine: 5.0-liter Coyote V8, race-tuned with a dry-sump system and optimized exhaust. Performance is expected to match or exceed the ~500 hp of the Mustang Dark Horse.

Suspension: Front and rear independent double-wishbone setup with Fox coilover + external-bypass dampers featuring remote reservoirs. Offers up to 350 mm of wheel travel.

Wheels & Tires: Rugged 17" aluminum wheels, 8.5" wide, wrapped in 37" off-road tires for serious terrain grip.

Brakes: High-performance 355 mm Alcon ventilated discs with six-piston monobloc calipers front and rear.

Ground Clearance & Dimensions: Massive 400 mm of clearance, 2,300 mm wide for stability, minimum weight around 2,010 kg, and an approach angle exceeding 70°.

Additional Features: Some sources note a 520 L fuel tank, sequential gearbox, and limited-slip differentials for serious endurance and traction.

  • Carlos Sainz Sr. (four-time Dakar champion) with co-driver Lucas Cruz
  • Nani Roma (two-time Dakar champ) with co-driver Alex Haro
  • Mattias Ekström and Mitch Guthrie Jr. also joined the driver lineup
  • For 2025 and beyond, privateer teams like Martin Prokop’s have also acquired Raptor T1+ units
