even i agree that Masi should've reacted faster and not gone back on his decision, but if he just let all the cars through earlier then it would be the same result

if we add the potential points he could've picked up when he was crashed out and the tyre failure we end up with +25 (Baku)/+18 (Silverstone)/+16(Hungary) and this is the weakest possible i could come up with as he lead Baku with a comfortable margin

I’ll say it again up until the last race it was even on luck, pace, FIA f#ck ups and points .
Then in the last race on the last lap one man was robbed and the other one gifted a wdc.
That’s the end of it!

Why do you keep bringing up Spa as if that helps Lewis's case? Max was on pole there. Lewis was third, out qualified by Russel in a Williams. If there was a full race, chances are Max would have scored even more than the half points he got.

I know your reply is going to be something dumb like Max would have crashed - but math says otherwise - out of the 5 wet weekends this season, Lewis crashed on 2 of them on his own. Max 0.

Your mate doesn´t seem to have to any issues that foreigners in UK, who work and live there most of their times, are also subjected to the UK tax regime and not to that of their countries of origin I guess.

FWIW, he's spitting feathers about what happened in Abu Dhabi, but he's said some tremendously positive things about the 2022 car being the best car he's ever built.. this is only in comparison to what he's built previously, and not necessarily what the other teams are bringing next year, but he's very positive. The construction of the cars is unlike anything in F1 before.

You saying what you say the outcome of the race would be is equally dumb as if I predicted it. But I’m not as stupid to predict the outcome and then sit on a high horse like you and act like your prediction is gospel.

Every sane person knows that the race should have been cancelled and driven at a later stage / replaces or just f#cking canceled of the calendar.

They could have cancelled the Spa and awarded no points and Max would have still won the championship.

Unlike many here, I have nothing against Lewis, I am just glad we had a close season. But I thought he drove pretty mediocre this season till the last 4 races before he switched on. Before Brazil, he was tied with Bottas for poles - 3-3. The same Bottas he used to dominate in all the other seasons before (and Max was at 9). Luck kept him in it during that time but then that luck also ran out.

RB didn't f*ck up in Baku, Pirelli as well as the engineers have a good grasp of estimated tyre life based on data from previous races, qualifying and free practice, that's why a tyre blow-out is not predicted

Spa was a too wet race where they gained half the points that they otherwise would've, given that RB was very strong in the first half of the season we can estimate a Max win here unless Mercedes has a better strategy

Monza was a net zero for the both of them with neither gaining or losing points over the other, given Monza is a power circuit it would most likely be Merc +25/RB +18

i don't think Mercedes would've used the comeback engine if not for the 3 races where Lewis gained free points on Max

where did i say that was the case? this can only be observed retroactively and we can clearly see that RB was more equal on pace in the first half of the season (or more like first 3/4ths) and would most likely build up a points lead if not for 2 DNFs and 1 running with unrepairable damage, Spa was a pole for Max and i don't know the Pole/win ratio on Spa but given the small pace difference a win would not surprise me
