The Maserati MC20 (MC being the acronym for Maserati Corse 2020, internal code M240) is a two-seater, rear-mid-engine sports car produced by Italian car manufacturer Maserati. The open top variant of the MC20 called the Cielo made its debut in May 2022.

So what is this supposed to be, a hot road version?
The base car is really slow so this has a lot to make up. I hope they dropped at least 100kg. It's also gonna be interesting to see how much more power they can get out of the engine. The Ferrari 3L TT V6 is 663PS, while the MC20 is 630PS. It would be nice if they managed to beat the Ferrari by at least a little.
As far as styling goes, I am not a huge fan of the naked CF panels. Hopefully those are an option.

I think the look is really well done for an extreme version, but the car still isn't lighter than the STO with its V10!?
A bit disappointed on that front, but it's still beautiful with an impressive amount of downforce.

Why did they take pictures with the wing as flat as ironing board? The room for adjustment is clearly there.
Weird how nobody seems to want to use Bridgstone Potenza Race. They switched to Porsche spec Michelins.
Even though the specs don't change very much, at least the car gets new seats and center console.
The photos are from this press release. They also mention it's 60 kg lighter than the standard car.

Very disappointing they didnt add a decent amount more power and reduced weight with those CF body addons. 640PS is disappointing.1,475 kg1,600 kg = 1,468 kg

Also, didn't they claim the dry weight of the standard MC20 to be 1,475 kg?
