Good Design Award was founded in 1950 and is the world’s oldest and one of the most prestigious awards program, elevating the best and finest new design and design innovation for products and graphics.

This year’s award goes to Dutch company Vanderbrink and their latest supercar GTO.

Vanderbrink GTO is built on the Ferrari 599. Until today only 5 units have been made. Customers can choose from two models 599 GTO and 630 GTO. First one is powered by a 6-liter Ferrari V12 that produces 611 hp, while 630 GTO uses the same engine with a new displacement of 6.3-liters that produces 750 hp.

In addition to more power and changed design Vanderbrink GTO is also 180 kg lighter than the original Ferrari 599. Of course this exclusivity has a price! 630 GTO can cost up to $993,000 plus the base car.

Michiel van den Brink: “We are proud to receive this prestigious award, being recognized by art and industry leaders as a top-level player next to highly esteemed designers like Walter de’Silva. This is a great honour for our young design company”.

Vandenbrink Design BV is an automotive design company, located in The Netherlands. The company focus is on special design and coachbuilding for highly exclusive sportscars (based on class-leading platforms such as the Ferrari 599, Audi R8, Spyker C8 Spyder and Corvette Z06) and development of new electrically powered automotive concepts.
