X3/X4 [Spy Shots] BMW iX3 2025 (NA5)

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.
Indeed it does but larger and wider. The wheel arches and mid surface sections are like the first generation of X5. And the headlight bars are formed in the shape of an “X” the aero package differs too.

Looks 2 times better than eq whatever bs and overall modern mb design. Mb take a dildo and put it into your designers aaaaaassss.

This front will work no doubt

BTW: Situations where my Sunroof is closed:
Outside temperature over 30°C( 86°F) or under 6°C(43°F) , Rain, faster driving ( Autobahn with >120km/h(75mph).
Otherwise my sunroof is always fully opened.

With my convertibles the temperature window is even bigger, I even drive at -10°C(14°F) with a open roof.

That’s why having no sunroof is an dealbreaker for me.

I've had sunroof on quite a few of my cars, I just like the light they bring into the cabin, I very rarely open them.

Definitely, and stayed consistent with maintaining ICE development while others like Porsche made the mistake of dropping it too fast and now having to walk back that decision.

They aren't really walking it back very far, they just canned the Boxster ICE.

Utterly maddening that is looks like a replica of the concept. Retro done right. The vintage kidneys and illumation looks 10/10. It’s an EV but screams BMW from the front.

Wow. It looks amazing. Credit to BMW for committing to such a bold styling direction and executing it so faithfully to the concept.

Mercedes and Audi execs will be convening some hasty meetings.

I kind of feel sorry for X3 buyers (for whom an EV is unviable) because this is a good deal more exciting to look at. Anyhow, for us plebs all we can hope for is an extensive LCI to bring the X3 more in line with its market position.

Looking forward to seeing the interior.

The interior of the Vision Neue Klasse X concept has been vastly improved for the series iX3. After seeing it, I think the cabin looks fantastic - dashboard, screen integration, details, seats. The iX3 from the press photos boasts a Digital White interior. It is a return to all-time, classic quality with a good dose of minimalism and modern luxury. Compared to the G45 X3, the NA5 iX3 is generations ahead.

I am yet to see any blatant cost-cutting measures, as BMW seemed to have gone all-in for the Neue Klasse, while jeopardizing the quality of the current generation of models. For example, if the 5 Series and/or the X3 lacked proper door sills (it remained available as an option through M Performance program), the new iX3 comes with standard door sills - e.g. ///M Sport ones.

The car's body lines are very clean, unified, and free of exaggeration. It looks as if it was carved from a large stone. It's a single piece. It's a far cry from BMW's angular, sharp design philosophy. Therefore, I doubt everyone will like it. My only criticism is why the rear light cluster is extended so far toward the center. Renault used this for a while and then abandoned it.

The G45 just needs the Neue Klasse makeover for its mid life cycle impulse to be able to match with the NA5.
