Both X7 and 7er will share a similar visual approach. When X7 was launched in 2018 its visual appearance was more aligned to the G11/12 7er.
It’s LCI in 2022 was piggybacked off the i7/7 G70.
The new model will no doubt align with the LCI G70.

I wonder why BMW thinks 1) it's comfortable to look up at the roof and 2) believes that both rear seat passengers want to see the same movie/tv channel. If one of the rear seat passengers wants to look at the road straight ahead, this is impossible since the entire view is covered by a large screen. The old rear seat entertainment is 1 million times better than the theater screen from G70.

The best thing about the XM is the interior. It's the best BMW interior going IMO. If the X7 gets that level interior, the GLS FL is toast.

It's still the same car as the X5 and X7, so all they have to do for the next gen X7 is differentiate it as much as they did for the XM compared to X5/7

Next weeks Neue-Klasse iX3 reveals the iDrive X and panoramic view. Think larger, wider and more luxurious materials used for i7, X5 and X7.

The actual headlight unit looks almost like it was carved out of a stone. The overall front end looks super vertical and seems to be lacking curvatures/lines.

Seems accurate. You can see the i7 gets a similar rear light treatment. Both align to the GKL philosophy. The i7 LCI will probably give creativity to the design of the X7 facia.
