Huayra [Hot!] Pagani Huayra R

The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.
Typical for Dott. Horacio - he sits back and smiles with his hands crossed... And then he jumps in and shuts your mouth... Magnificent!:bowdown::bowdown:

Has anyone else figured out that 553lbft at 8,300rpm is more than the 838bhp quoted as peak power. 874bhp in fact.

Who said it's making 750Nm (553lbft) at 8300RPM? The claim is at 5500RPM.
R&T and Evo.

Ugh, yeah, "5500-8300" - and nobody thought it weird that it makes peak torque past where the car makes the peak power - which is at 8250RPM. These clowns need to stop REPRINTING manufacturer's marketing statements.
The question is, which is correct though. If the torque figure is correct then the car has nearer 900ps.

Love the sound of the new engine. Has any reason been given why they abandoned the TTV12 for this so late in the Huayra cycle? Almost seems like it would have made sense to introduce this engine on the Huayra’s successor.

This video came up in my feed as well, hands down the best sounding car I have ever heard.

Holy shit that sounds unbelievable, gee wiz my hairs are standing up on my neck. The best sounding car on sale. Pagani rules.

Wow that car sounds out of this world. Holy sh!t my jaw is falling out. The best engine sound I ever heard.

There is nothing for a consumer to buy close to that HWA V12 I’m sorry it’s just out of this world.

As far as sound goes, 3 stand out cars from Goodwood FoS.
This Pagani beat everything but the AM Valkyrie and Gordon Murray's T.50 ran it close.
Biggest disappointment, the AM Vantage V12. No sound at all.
Glad to have it confirmed! Its unmatched
